We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who shared in our special day and to those who were unable to make it but help make the church what it is today. It is such an amazing place to worship and will live forever in our hearts! We feel truly blessed to have been married at Seymour Congregational and to have shared the last several years with you all.
I feel it’s no coincidence that God sent you Pastor Ally, someone who continually brings you the message of the love that Christ has for you.
Thank you for warming our rings with your love and well wishes.
Cherie, thank you for the fulfilling our last minute request with the Cinema Paradiso theme song, all of the music was just perfect!
Sending our love and peace to you all,
Mr. and Mrs. David Bell
(has a nice ring to it doesn’t it?)
Good morning all,
The Seymour Oxford Food Bank is in need of volunteers to help with our food drive from the Boy Scouts, Schools and Seymour Police Dept. to date, separate, and box up food on November 19th from 10 o’clock on all day.
We will also need help to put together the Thanksgiving baskets on Tuesday, November 22nd from 9 o’clock until noon. We are putting together 80 thanksgiving dinners. Please meet at 20 Pine St. Seymour for both events. Without your help it will be very difficult to serve our community this Thanksgiving. If you could please put this in your church bulletin, tell your friends and family, and if you know of any organizations that are looking to do some volunteer work for the holidays please let them know. If you need any more information please contact me at email@example.com or call 203-888-7826.
Do you like to knit, crochet, or sew? I invite you to join our prayer shawl ministry. Shawls or lap blankets are given to those who have suffered a loss, an illness or even in celebration of an event. Have questions? Please call Lynda Boynton at 203-888-5473.
PRAYER CHAIN: The Prayer Chain is open to everyone. There is an amazing strength from the power of prayer. To have your email address added to our prayer chain so you will receive notifications of those in need of prayer, let Teresa Kregling know at firstname.lastname@example.org or call her at 203-881-2027. If you have a prayer request you would like to go out to the people on the Prayer Chain, email or call Teresa and she will send it out.
