Thank you to everyone for helping us make this year’s Basket Raffle and Turkey Dinner such a success. A very big thank you to my helpers on Friday morning and everyone who worked at the dinner and helped with the cleanup. It could not have been done without you. ~ Teresa
June 15 – Snowflake fair planning meeting
Following worship (location to be announced). Anyone interested is invited to join us!
This summer, be on the lookout for the following needed items:
A 4’ – 6’ tree for our “Giving Tree” in the foyer (will be used for donations to the Gellatly Scholarship Fund and the CT food bank).
Pink items for our “positively pink” basket ($ collected for this basket will go to Seymour Pink)
Items for baskets ~ if you don’t want to donate a full basket, Leslie will be making a box for donations that we can put together for the raffle (and we may put together a few small baskets for sale).
Ornaments for our “All that Glitters” tree (we have enough balls, look for misc. glittery decorations)
We do have a good start on our “Christmas Treasures” items from the tag sale, but will always make room for more!
Supplies: Clear wrap, wired ribbon, and medium and large sized baskets
If you have a craft idea, let Laura or Jeannette know – we plan on having at least 2 craft get-togethers.
George Wityak & John Maiorino Post 10 – Memorial Day
If anyone knows of a Seymour Veteran who is buried at a cemetery in another town and does not have a flag on the grave, please contact George Bashura at 203-888-7734 or Michael Kearney at 203-888-7813, and they will provide a flag to the family to place at the grave. Thank you.
There are many openings for June, July and August on the Flower Chart. You may want them to be ordered or you may bring in your own. Please indicate on the Flower Chart whether you would like to take them home or leave them to be given to shut-ins or someone who is sick. T-take, L-leave
